RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

If Chicago is the "Windy City" then Andrews University should be the "Rainy Campus"!

It rained off and on ALL day yesterday and it's been ever worse today! I got the privelage of lugging my sax around in this (perfect for a duck) weather. But other then the rain it's been a pretty good day.

I had a tough time getting out of bed this morning. For my first class this morning (Music Theory 1) we had a test. I think I did pretty well on it, however I don't want to get my hopes up just incase but I have a pretty good feeling about it. Jeong Min and I studied together last night for a while and I think it help us both. The test was only 3 pages long!
Going down the stairs to Music Theory this morning I passed Byron. I still think it's kind of strange with both of us being students instead of him being my teacher/co-worker.

Jeong Min and I also worked on our Ear Training homework but we were having a hard time with a few of the exercises. So this afternoon we met up for lunch and then a little later we went to ask our teacher about it (we had a sub last class). Come to find out we had already done all that was assigned AND more... So we didn't even need her help after all.

I got to Wind Symphony and started putting my (well it's still the borrowed one) together and Mr. Mitchell came over and said that this other girl would be using the sax that I had been using. So I packed it back up and switched to a sax that looked almost as beat up as mine but still played a bit better. So now I'm on my 3rd sax (including mine) since I've been here. But mine should be coming back sometime this week and hopefully be playing A LOT better! I can't wait to see! I was SO glad that the first chair tenor sax was there today. If I can't get something I usually can get it if I hear it played... it still might take me it a bit to actually be able to play it but I will eventually. :)

I don't have much homework tonight. But I didn't start on the article last night about this weekend so I'll have to do that. Maybe I'll be able to go to bed early... hahaha... everytime I say that I always end up going to bed really late so we'll have to see what happens.
