Amazing Weekend (last weekend)

I got the best surprise last weekend! After such a crappy week, it made my month! Kim was supposed to be coming out here for her alumni weekend at the academy and she was coming by herself. Friday night I got a phone call from Andrew and he asked me what I would be up to over the weekend and I responded with nothing. Then we talked for a while longer before he said he was almost there and needed to go and that he would try to call me back on Sabbath. Sabbath I got up, went to church, went and got some lunch, then just chilled in my room for the rest of the afternoon talking to people online and such. Saturday night I watched a movie and Andrew called me back. There was a lot of noise in the back ground and I wasn't sure if he had a game on, on TV or if he was somewhere. He told me he was in Port Byron picking up some stuff before heading home and he asked me what I was up to for the night... to which I said that I was watching a movie. This was around 8 or 9 probably. Around 11 my dorm phone rang and I didn't think it would be for me and my roommate was out so I answered it anyway and the caller id said that it was the desk. They asked for me and I said it was and she told me that I had something down in the lobby I needed to go get right away. So I threw on a pait of jeans (instead of PJ bottoms) and a hoodie (to cover my cami) and walked downstairs wondering what on earth could be down there... The only thing I could come up with was that Andrew had made some Maple Candy and sent it with Kim... it was too late to be getting a package or anything. When I got down the the last couple stairs leading into the lobby, I couldn't even see into the lobby yet, I heard Byron say "Hey Victoria!" I turned the corner and Byron and his girlfriend were both there and he started asking how I was doing and what I was up to and how things were going for me and if I had gone and done this or that and so I was answering his questions and still wondering WHAT IS GOING ON?! I was answering one of his questions and moved my elbow and hit something... so I turned and Andrew was standing RIGHT behind me! I was like OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!!!!!? :D Byron was like I thought you said he wasn't coming :) I didn't even know what to say I just kept looking at all of them. It was SO great! So Byron and his girlfriend left and Andrew and I got to talk for a little bit before he had to go pick up Kim. He told me I WAS going to brunch with them Sunday morning and that there was going to be a bunch of people. So they picked me up Sunday and we went and ate a LOT of food. Kim's parents and her sister Erika, another guy, one of their friends named Joey (who is also in Wind Symphony even though he has graduated and I'd only ever seen him ONCE), another friend Cory (who I've heard stories about and I guess I met him once at USA), and another couple, and me and Andrew and Kim. Andrew and Kim left straight from eating so I rode back with Kim's parents and Erika. We got to do some shopping before coming back and Erika and I got to talk for a bit. It was a lot of fun and was so relaxing... just what I needed after such a crazy past couple of weeks!

This week has been pretty crazy too... I can't remember the first part other then I've been going to bed late. Sunday we had a SPLASH meeting and we still have a lot of work to do before the revival in a couple weeks. We have stuff to buy but don't have any money for it. Wednesday we had another meeting but just for the three of us secretaries and Bryan and Rich. It started around 8:30 and we didn't leave until almost 11. I came back to my room after that and wasn't here too long and Jeong Min came down and asked me if I could help her with her grammer stuff then... which I had completely forgotten about! So I went out and helped her with that and got back to my room around 12:45 or so... I got in here and was doing some stuff and started talking to Jonathan online about some homework and he asked me if I had listen to a perfect pitch cd he's letting borrow... I said no and he told me that I should do it right then. So I put in the cd and continued talking to him for a little bit and ended up falling asleep. I felt so bad because I was still talking to Jonathan. I apologized to him at class the next day and he said it was ok he just couldn't understand how I fell asleep SO fast... I told him it was because I dozed off between replies and then the 3rd time I didn't wake up agian. I hadn't washed my face, I hadn't changed my shirt, I hadn't cleaned off my bed, and I still had my computer on my lap!

Last night I realized that I only have my lab on Sunday and then whatever time I have on Monday to get my photo assignment done... I could have gone over today but... I don't have everything shot and I don't think I'd be able to get it all done in about 2 1/2 hours. So... I'll finish shooting today and process my film and do a few prints on Sunday and then on Monday I'll finish up whatever prints I need to and mount them hopefully.

This afternoon I have yet another meeting. It was just going to be me and Monica and I had questions for Bryan about what we were meeting about and he ended up asking if he could come too... so now it's the three of us and we have some desisions to make really fast! So hopefully we can get everything done this afternoon... that's at 4:30.

As for this weekend... no plans other then church and I think Monica and I might go to the Girl's Night In thing in the gym in the dorm... they are doing nails, hair cuts, massages, food, and all kinds of other stuff... sounds pretty relaxing to me. She asked me if I was going to it when I talked to her last night and I wanted to but didn't want to go by myself... she said that she wanted to go so I think we are going to try to go together. And then on Sunday... my four hour lab with will probably be a bit longer then normal!
