Finally Sabbath

I couldn't be happier for the Sabbath as I am this week! ...Ok maybe I could be but I'm still really glad that it's Sabbath! This week has been so crazy and busy!

Monday I had a test in Dealing with Your Mind with is my psychology class. I did ok... could have done better but could have done a lot worse too. I think I got a "C" which I guess isn't too bad for the first test since you don't know how that teacher gives tests. So that was Monday.

Tuesday I don't think I had anything special other then I had to shoot my 2 rolls of film and turn them in that night. I ended up running them over to Harrigan at about 11:00pm Tuesday night. It was really dark outside and hardly anybody out. As I was walking past the cafe I saw a Campus Safety officer locking up the doors. When I got closer I thought it might have been Ben and he thought it might have been me so he called out and asked if it was me and then asked me where I was headed. He said "It's 11:00 at night!!! What are you going there for???" I told him I had to turn my film in and he said that he'd walk me over. So we talked on our way (one of his majors is photo) and he waited for me and walked me all the way back to the front door of the dorm. Such a nice guy.

Wednesday I had a paper for Civilizations and Ideas (Strayer's class) due. I didn't start that until the night before (shame on me) but I got it done and printed and everything by about 2:00am maybe a little later.

Thursday I had my Color Photography critique. I hope I did ok... it was portraits and I didn't have good light at all! We'll see when I get my grade.

Then today... I had a test in Civilizations and Ideas. I was up until a little after 3 this morning trying to study. I think I did fairly well on it but maybe that's just hope. Then I had a lab that was supposed to take an hour but took close to an hour and a half at least. Then at 6:30 I was supposed to report to the church to warm-up for the flag raising ceremony with Wind Symphony. After that I went to the missions vespers with Monica and saw a bunch of other people. I FINALLY got to say hi to Alex. I'd seen him a couple times but not been able to say hi. They had some really good cheesecake there too... that served as my supper. After vespers I changed and went to Monica's room. It was really relaxing. We drank Egyptian tea and chatted with just a cute little lamp on that made it seem really homey (that and their room is warmer then our room, which feels like a fridge).

I'll be waking up at 6:30 in the morning because Wind Symphony is playing at both church services. (It's Alumni Weekend) Tomorrow night I'm going to be taking pictures at the concert. Then I'll probably be either going through pictures or watching a movie with Monica.

Anyways, it's getting late and I have to get up early! HAPPY SABBATH
