Thanksgiving Break

I got to go home this year for Thanksgiving. I was SO happy and kept it a secret from Dad, which was pretty fun. I rode to Andrew and Kim's with Kim's parents. It took us about 11 1/2 hours to get there so we arrived at 3:00 on Wednesday morning. We got up around 11 or so and had some breakfast and went out to cut some wood. While we were out there Mom came and picked me up and I was in a car for another 6 hours.

Before getting home we went to Dad's work. I laid my seat all the way down when he came out to the car and when I sat up he says he couldn't see me... I finally said hi and he just stood there and stared for a minute then exclaimed "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE????!!!!????" And so was my welcoming home.

We got home and I got to play with Belle (she's gotten SO big but still just as cute!) and watch some tv before going to bed. Thanksgiving day we went to Deb & Mike's house (friends of the family) and had dinner (Grammie came with us). We were there most of the day and visited for quite a while before heading home again.

Friday I slept in a bit and then Mom made some yummy, not cafe food and then I went shopping with Dad. Then went home and played with Belle some more :)

Sabbath we got up earlier then I would have liked and headed for New York once again. This time we went to Brent and Heather's and then to Rich and Beck's for lunch... had some tasty thanksgiving leftovers. Anyways... we got to see Izzie who is super cute and way tiny! She fit perfectly in one arm.

After lunch and visiting a little we headed for Andrew and Kim's. Mom and Dad stayed for a little bit and then headed out. The rest of the evening we ate pizza, David, Erika, and I played some Dutch Blitz, then we all played some Mexican Train Dominoes, then Dave, Erika, and I watched a movie before heading to bed.

Sunday morning we headed back here to Andrews. Another... oh... 11 or 11 1/2 hours later we arrived back safe and sound. Classes started again Monday morning and now today starts our last week of classes and next week is finals and then I'm home again for almost a month I think. Can't wait!
