On The Go

I feel like I've been going pretty much non-stop all weekend starting Friday.

Friday I got up and went to class and as soon as class was out I ran to the cafe and got some lunch. Bringing my food back to my room I checked my email and such while eating and then I began getting things together for my photo shoot. The assignment: Eggs. I decided I wanted my eggs colored but the only recipes I could find for coloring eggs included vinegar, which I didn't have. So, I thought that I'd color them with paint. But I couldn't find my paint so I went to the next best thing... Sharpies... ultra fine tip Sharpies to be exact. It took me a half hour to color three eggs. After coloring my eggs and getting the rest of my things together I headed over to Harrigan. I was in the studio from about 2:00 until about 6. I came back to my room and wasn't even here ten minutes before I was asked to do a photo shoot at 7:30. So I was over at the Campus Ministries Radio Launch party from 7:30-8:45 and then went to the church from about 9 until around 11:00.

Sabbath I went to church and then went directly to the nursing home to sing and visit. I got back around 4:30 or so and then went to a book swap/supper/vespers thing at one of the English professor's house for English majors and friends. We got there around 6:15 and had to leave well before it was over to go the concert in at the Howard that started at 8. The concert was really good and afterwards we hung around for a little bit and got to talk to some friends before I headed over to work for Dan's surprise birthday party. We waited for quite a while before he showed up and we had pizza and cake and stuff. I got back to my room around 12:45 and went to bed a couple hours later.

Today, I thought I'd sleep until I woke up since I was so tired. Around 11 my phone vibrated and it was a text message from Marissa and every time I was almost back to sleep I'd get another message or phone call so I finally figured it was pointless at 11:30 and got up. I showered and went straight to Harrigan after dressing of course. I helped Marissa for a bit and then worked on my stuff. I was there until about 5. I came back to my room and went over to the gym with Katherine at 5:45 for the Super Bowl party. We had pizza and drinks and chips. We were going to leave around 7 but saw Paul and went to say hello for almost an hour. I went to Danae's room when I got back and watched the rest of the game. I came back to my room and did my homework for tomorrow and talked with Paul about a few shots from my photo shoot and now I'm writing this.

I think it's about time to call it a night.
