Last Week & This Week's Happenings

This past Wednesday was Paul's senior oboe recital. He did an AMAZING job! The music was beautiful. His sister, Gina, accompanied him on the piano and they both seemed to throughly enjoy themselves. Some of us girls got to talk with her a little after the performance and she's a really cool lady. She was sharing about her music as well as a little about Paul's and she didn't hesitate to share a few stories of when they were younger. It was a fun, and well spent, evening.

This weekend has been filled with the photo shoot on Friday afternoon followed by a trip to the goodbye store and Walmart, church, a Saturday night Wind Symphony performance, a late night movie and pizza with Danae and Hannah, an early morning movie (in which I fell asleep in), an earlier Sunday morning consumed with looking through and editing photos, a couple hour break in which time I watched a little tv and had a bad nap for about an hour, a short meeting at 6 with my group for communications class, another little break, and then the guy's open house that I had to shoot for, then an evening filled with trying to study amid talking with Brittany and our junior preview guest Sami who is from Brittany's church.

Tomorrow, well actually today, is studio class critique. This week's assignment: Black on Black. I had a few different ideas and shot a couple friends, an old chair and hat, and a few of a pair of shoes.

This week is going to be filled with photo critique tomorrow, a group speech/presentation for communications on Tuesday, probably a test on Thursday, and SPRING BREAK (I fly home Friday)! I can't wait for the break!
