Why!?!?

Nina came down to the academy this week and since I was off yesterday we planned to get together and do a little Christmas shopping. I picked her up around noon and we went to lunch at Chili's and then decided just to stick around Auburn for our shopping.

We started at Walmart where I picked up a couple gifts and thought of another idea for one. And then we were off to Payless, Marshall's, and the Dollar Tree. We were having fun until we got to the Dollar store. I was looking at some picture frames and all of a sudden someone comes crashing into me and just kept pushing! I turned around wondering who in the world would be rude enough to 1. ram into me and 2. to keep going! To my utter shock and dismay it was Darb* ** I was shell shocked and sad! Nina took a few steps away as he stood there and started chatting it up and talked... and talked... and talked... and did I mention he stood there and talked for a while??? I finally said I really needed to go and grabbed Nina and without picking up two or three other things I had wanted to get while there we hurried to the check out line while I explained to her that he is the creepy/stocker guy from work. As we were about to leave Nina said "Hurry he's coming this way!" So, without looking back we bolted out the door and towards the car. Luckily for us, he wasn't done his shopping yet and we made a safe escape. We soon finished our shopping and headed back to the school for a while and visited with Adam and then with Sue and Glendon while we waited for the Walk Through Bethlehem to start.

Kim always says about how she hates to go to Walmart and stuff because of running into people from work and stuff. So, ever since Darb came in and started talking to me I started to fear going places because I thought I might run into him... Now, that fear has come true and for now Walmart is to Kim as the Dollar Tree is to me.
