Ready or Not

It's official (I think). I'm going back to Michigan in January. I'm registered for five classes and my bill is paid. I've been given two options for living arrangements and I'm pretty sure I know which I'll be choosing now. I've emailed about a couple of on campus jobs. One at the dairy for a milker's assistant position and one in Imaging Services. I'm hoping for the one in IS although the dairy will probably be better pay wise. I have a manual to read for the dairy (I'm about half way through) and I sent my resume to Lis for IS but haven't heard any more from either place.

I've got a pretty sweet schedule yet again. My earliest class is at 8:30am and it only meets on Tuesdays. Other then that my earliest class all week is 12:30 :) And I have no classes on Fridays. I'm so lucky :)

I've got some terrible mixed feelings about leaving. It's kinda scary to be going back and having to start almost completely over. A lot of my friends and people I knew are now gone, several of them are now married, and others have developed a different circle of friends in the two and a half years since I've been there.
I'm also very comfortable where I am now. I know my way around town better then ever before and I like working with the goats (most of the time). I think my biggest regret about living here all this time is not making more friends to hang out with. Sure I met people from school and work but never really anybody from either of those places that I'd go see a movie with or go bowling or something like that. I'm kinda afraid I might fall into that pattern again I guess.

Anyways, I'm graduating this month (in a couple weeks) and I'm done with classes and stuff this week! Yay! There's some graduate recognition thing on Friday evening we're all going too. I have to work til 5/5:30 so I guess I'm going to go to the grad thing with hat hair and smell of coffee :( oh well.
