New surroundings

It all started last night. The orginal plan, like I said in my previous blog, was to finish my homework and go to bed early. But surprise, surprise! It didn't happen. I was online talking with a few people and then I got a call from one of my friends asking for help to take some pictures for a Campus Ministries poster. I said sure and we decided to meet in the girls dorm lobby in five minutes. So I went downstairs and waited a few minutes for them to show up. And we ended up sitting there talking for a few minutes and then this beeping started... I hadn't ever heard it before. But soon after that had started the fire alarm went off. So off to the campus center/cafeteria we went. It seemed like we were over there forever before they gave us the ok to go back in. However... I ended up sitting over there and eventually moving outside (it was such a nice night last night) and talked with Bryan, Rich, and Jennifer for quite a while. I got back to the dorm around 10:45 and had my roommate moving in. Yup.. that's right... I said roommate.
She lives in town and the dorm just found out about her needing to move in yesterday afternoon and I found out by email around 8:30 or so last night. So now I'm not alone. She seems nice but I haven't seen her a whole lot. Her first class was at 7:30 this morning and mine was at 9:30 so I wasn't up then. And she went to bed before me because I had to do my homework.
I didn't have my room cleaned or anything by the time she got here... my stuff was everywhere! By the time I got back up here last night she seemed to be pretty much settled.
Today has been fairly uneventful. In Music Theory 1 this morning he kept saying something and someone would have a question about it and he wouldn't really answer the question that was being asked. Then somebody else would try asking it a different way... I think the question was asked and rephrased like 10 times. But we made it thru it. Then I had Philosophy of Service and I need to decide what I want to do my paper on and where I want to put my 10 hours of service in. And then I had math (ugh) and at 5 I had Wind Symphony. Oh and I had couseling today... for career/major stuff... I don't have a mental problem. So I have all these tests I have to
do for that and for my Career and Life Planning class.
Well, I guess that's enough for now. I have to get going here soon.
Have a great night!

Just thought this was cool. It was taken in the Campus Center. I thought it was cool.
