Fusion

Friday night was our big, monthly, vespers in the Howard called Fusion. Bryan and Tim rotate who's director each month. This month was Bryan's month. So the beginning of the week he would be telling me "keep my schedule open from Wednesday or Thursday because of Fusion". Then we began hearing "can you come and help me tomorrow?" I spent most of the afternoon catching up on Music Theory homework (which I got all done and turned in THAT afternoon!!!)

I think it was Thursday night I got a call to go over and help them... Rich, Monica, and I all went over to help him. Rich ended up staying at the Howard to let us back in because the doors were locked, while Monica, Bryan, and I all went over to AUTV and carried out a bunch of TV's, cords, and whatever else we needed... while we were carrying everything out to the car it began to snow. We got everything loaded as fast as we could and headed back to the Howard to unload everything.

I got major late one of the nights that we were over there helping. So did Jennifer... Monica, Jennifer, and I all talked to Dean Phillips when we got in and she seemed to be ok with it but the email we got was from one of the other deans. So I emailed her back saying what was going on.

Friday Bryan asked me if I could help them at 2:30. I said sure and after lunch I was planning on coming back here and doing some laundry and lay down for a while (I'd only gotten 2 1/2 hours of sleep the night before). Well, the phone rang at 2 and he was like can you come meet me at the dorm to help carry stuff to the Howard? So much for a nap... I went to the dorm and met Bryan there and went to the Howard where Monica was waiting. We finished setting everything up. I was there from 2 in the afternoon until about midnight or so that night. I got to sit in the control room during the program... it's crazy back there... "ready camera 1" "camera 1 is up" "standby camera 3" "camera 3 is up" and it went on and on quite quickly for the first fifteen minutes or so and slowed a little, but not much, the rest of the time. Then we got to clean up... I'm still sore... I think taking the lights and extention cords up to the catwalk did me in. But it's all good.

Well, I have finals this week. Tomorrow I have a paper/service learning project due, a presentation to make and have to turn in a paper type of a thing for that, and one final. On Tuesday I have one final. And sometime before I leave I have to have a final interview for photo with 10 of my best prints. SO... I should be going.

Have a wonderful week!
