my latest happenings

I'm at good ol' USA again after spending last week at Adri's house. I had a great time there hanging out with her and her family. We ate so many sweets and gave/received so many massages... it was wonderful.

I spent most of the day on Sunday with my cousins. We went to the circus and then to Uno's before meeting up with Adri again to come back here. We got here a little late for gymnastics practice but Andrew wasn't too upset since she wasn't the last one to arrive. I went home with Andrew after practice where we hung out, talked, and ate popcorn before heading off to bed. Yesterday we got to "sleep in" a bit and came in around 10. I hung out in the office a bit and then wandered the halls for a while in the afternoon not sure what to do, who to find, or where to go. It's amazing how things can change within a year. I still have friends and stuff here but I don't feel as if I belong near as much anymore.

Last night when we got home Kim said that we should grill for supper. Andrew got stuff out and went to the grill to find out there wasn't any propane left so we cooked inside... it still tasted really good. Then we watched Dancing with the Stars and played Killer Bunnies. We didn't finish the game, we played until about 11 when Kim said she still had some work to do. So we left everything out and we're going to finish it tonight. They have cards and all the other stuff that goes with Killer Bunnies all over their floor.

Shadow's a little stinker. Shadow is Andrew and Kim's black cat. The inside animals are all supposed to stay downstairs (I'm staying downstairs... what's that say about me? Don't answer that). Every time I got upstairs Shadow seems to get right past me and escapes through the door. Every time I go upstairs we have to chase Shadow, catch him, and throw him back downstairs. I also seem to get bombarded by the three cats and Sam, their BIG dog, whenever I go downstairs. But I don't mind it... I miss my pets and I like their's so it's all good. Logan jumped on my shoulder the other day while I was holding Avalanche. and then Shadow was at my feet and Sam was rubbing his nose into my stomach.

Today, we were going to make it in at 8 which meant leaving at 7:30. Andrew and I both set our alarms for 6:30. Andrew said when his went off he wanted another 15 minutes and when mine went off I wanted another 20 minutes... I figured that would give him enough time to shower and whatever by the time I went upstairs. Anyways, to make the story longer... we were a few minutes late to band because of a mixture between getting stuck behind poky people twice and leaving the house a couple minutes late. When we got here, we went straight to the music room. I stood in the door way not sure if I should go in. Mrs. Baker turned around and saw me and was like "VICTORIA!!!!! You want to play?????" so I did. Andrew was happy but he wanted to play the solo in one song and we didn't. Oh well, maybe later this week. She told me after it was good to have me back, they missed me and asked if I could come back tomorrow.
