Home at last

I made it home yesterday evening somewhere between 4 and 5 I think. My flight from South Bend left a little early so my layover in Detroit seemed really long. I found my gate (had to go from C something to A14) and ate the sandwich I had bought. Then I got up and threw away my trash and used the bathroom and happened to look at the monitors. Looking at the monitor I realized that now that I had gone to the END of the A Concourse my gate had been changed and I had to go the OTHER END to gate 65 or something like that! So I took a walk to the other end of the concourse, found my new gate, realized there were a couple people from school on my flight, and sat down and read a little and then got talking to the other people a little.

Mom and Matthew picked me up. I was starving by the time I got there so we went out for supper to Olive Garden... SO good! Then I slept the rest of the way home. Once we got home I brought my stuff in and played with Belle and waited for Dad to get home before heading to bed.

This morning I woke up to Mom telling me I needed to move my backpack because Belle kept trying to get into it. So I came out to the living room and grabbed it and headed for bed again. I didn't even make it back to sleep before I heard Mom again... this time telling Belle to stop then telling me that it was a little after 7 and that she thought Belle wanted me because she kept going to the hall and crying to get down there. So I came out to the couch and it helped for a little bit but started again. Anyways, made it through the morning and went to Sabbath School, church, and potluck before coming back home and playing with Belle some more and now writing this with Belle curled up on the couch next to me and Mom the other side of her sleeping (Dad's in bed too).

Hopefully tonight I'll get to hang out with Adam and maybe talk them into playing games or something :)
