My three week Christmas/New Years break wasn't long enough! I spent the first week by myself most of the time. Relaxing at home and getting settled and playing with Belle. Then the second weekend I was home Mom, Dad, Matthew, and I went to Union Springs to pick up Karolline and see their Christmas programs. Brent, Heather, and Izzie were in The Walk Thru Bethlehem and stayed the night Friday so I took Izzie every chance I could! Karolline would tell me it was her turn and I used the excuse that she gets to see Izzie all the time and that the weekend was my turn.
The days leading to Christmas were filled with last minute shopping and cleaning with the anticipation of the California family coming the day after Christmas. Christmas night Grammie, Auntie, Adam, Geneva, Mom, and I all played games for a few hours (Dad and Karolline relaxed in the living room.) The day after Christmas Aunt Melinda, Kayloni, Cheyanne, and Luke all arrived safely. The next days were filled with catching up, having Christmas with Auntie & Uncle Ed, Rich, Becky, the girls, Brent & Heather & Izzie, all the CA people, and Grammie, and us, going to Ben & Jerry's and the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, going on a sleigh ride and touring Billings Farm. New Years eve we all played games and hung out at our house and ate a TON of dips and things to dip in them! Everybody left within a few days of New Years.
After everyone left the house seemed REALLY quiet since it was just back to me. I hung out and did some knitting (Aunt Melinda taught me some more stuff while she was there) and a whole bunch of nothing. Now I'm back at school and pretty happy with my schedule right now. I have some teachers that seem really good so far and I know at LEAST two people in every class I'm in. Wind Symphony has gained quite a few new people and we've lost at least one that I know of. But I think its still going to be really cool. I'm a little intimidated about studio class but trying not to think that way. Wish me the best! (I'll try to post some pictures soon... it's not letting me right now)
