Updates

A few of you have been asking about the results of the task force stuff so I thought I'd start with that. Rich told me that he's not accepting the position because he doesn't feel that's the way that God is leading him anymore. And Paul's stuff is progressing I guess. All I really know is that he sent in his resume this week and he keeps asking me a bunch of questions about the academy how how things work.
And for me, I had a meeting on Wednesday with Japhet (the missions director) to go over paperwork and what I still needed to do. So I worked on stuff that afternoon and night and got my online application for the North American Division (NAD) submitted and the next day I turned in all the paperwork I could turned into Jillian (assistant missions director) for the Andrews part of it. Now I just need to get my 3 references turned in as soon as I can (hopefully by Monday but we'll see). I went over after classes yesterday and asked Dave if he'd do one and he said he'd be more then happy to. So that should be an easy one to get back. And I have somebody from church at home happy to do one so I need to get that faxed out first thing on Monday. And for the last one I need to contact someone else. And then for the challenging part... FUND RAISING at least $1,000! So if any of you would like to support me by helping me reach this goal of $1,000 by April 30th PLEASE contact me!

As for the rest of the week, Monday was pretty normal and Tuesday was BUSY and LONG! Tuesday's classes start at 9:00 for me. Then I have an hour break before my 11:30 class but on Tuesday I had a speech for my second class and had to type up and print out the outline for the speech and grabbed some food so I didn't have much of a break. After my 11:30 class, which ran over and got out around 1, I went straight to Harrigan to work on editing my photo for critique on Wednesday. I finished up and turned my stuff in around 3 or 3:30 to get printed, submitted my files, and headed to my room to pick up money to get the book I needed for my missions class and went to buy that. After waiting around to get the book I reported back to my room to do some quick reading of the 2 chapters in the book, an article, and then type up a 1-2 page reaction paper based of the reading and last weeks class all due for class at 5:00. After all that I saved my paper and headed to the dorm lab to print it, problem being, the computers were getting updated and so I decided that I'd wait and leave early for class and stop by the music library to print it out. I got it all done in just enough time to make it to class on time. Class gets out around 9:00pm and I headed back to my room to pick up a few things and head back to Harrigan to pick up my print and mount it and then do a photoshoot. (I got asked to shoot senior recital pictures for someone). My print wasn't done so I went to the studio and started setting up and waiting until she arrived a little after 10. I didn't get back to my room until about 11:45pm. I was exhausted but still had homework to do. I decided my homework wouldn't take long and I'd just get up earlier to mount my print and read that. So that's what I did.

Last night I went to a vespers concert put on by the choir. It was a really good concert and they sang some new songs finally! They also had a violinist (Sedric) and an oboist (Paul) for some of the pieces. Today they performed again for church. Tonight there is an orchestra/young artists concert in the Howard at 8:30 I'm planning on going too. I'm thinking I shouldn't stay up too late tonight since I have to be to the Howard at 7:15 tomorrow MORNING because we are performing for the GC opening ceremony. Mr. Mitchell said we should be dismissed around 9:00. Then I'll need to go over to get the studio key for Marissa's studio because I'm going to be using her lights sometime tomorrow afternoon for my Environmental Portrait assignment due on Wednesday that I didn't shoot yesterday due to some model mis-scheduling issues.

So that's what's up with me this week. Sorry but you'll have to wait again for pictures...
