Visitor in the Pool

One even the end of last week Andrew, Kim, and I all decided a dip in the pool sounded really good. So we changed into our suits and headed out. We were in there for a while when we started to hear a frog chirping. Andrew said it sounded close... maybe on the edge of the pool but upon further investigation, realized the little bugger was IN the pool chillin' on the side. I exclaimed that I would catch him and catch him I did. We got out of the pool and started drying off on the deck; me with the frog settled on my finger. I was wishing I had my camera but the battery was charging so Kim grabbed her's and took a couple pictures. After which she told me I should probably throw the frog over the railing so the cat wouldn't get him.

Instead of throwing him I walked down the stairs and figured since I was that close I might as well get my camera. I tried bringing him inside but as soon as I shut the door he made a giant leap from my finger onto the floor. Luckily Sam (the dog) and the other two cats were in the other room. It took me a couple tries before I finally caught the little guy again and promptly took him outside. I then ran to my room and grabbed my battery, stuck it in my camera, and ran outside to see if he was still there. He was and I picked him up again and took some more pictures before leaving him alone. This is probably the best shot that I got (he's hard to capture) and it was AFTER he jumped into a pile of Sam's hair :P
