Fall Semester 2009

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR THE SUMMER... *clears throat* I mean... I only have one more final to go until fall semester is over :D yay!

I only had 3 classes that lasted the whole semester. I had two that were done within a month or so of school starting and another one that was supposed to be an 8 week Sunday class but ended up being more like a 6 week Sunday class. The finals for the first 2 were done a long time ago and I got A's in both classes. The Sunday class I'm not sure what I got yet but we didn't even have a final for the class which was really nice.

So, that only left me with finals for the remaining 3 classes to do finals week... opps... I mean TWO finals for finals week. Our English teacher was nice enough to give us the final in class the last week of classes! Today I had my math final at 3:30. He had given us 5 pages of review problems... some we did in class and the rest he assigned as homework, that's what we did the last week of class. This morning I started around 9 and did ALL of the review questions again on different paper only looking at the originals if I got stuck on something. Before I headed out I even looked up the steps for completing squares again online (found a really great website for it too! But it turned out that it wasn't even on the test). The first 5 problems were required problems that you had to do to because that's what the state thinks you should know by the time you complete the class. I think I got them all right *crosses fingers/knocks on wood* The next 25 problems you were to show your work for partial credit and they would take the best 20 answers... so if you had 5 questions you didn't get completely right or didn't remember how to do at all they wouldn't really count against you. Lucky for me since there were 5 I couldn't figure out for the life of me! But I feel pretty confident about the 20 I did answer from that section.

Tomorrow I've got my Geology test. I'm not so worried about this final because it's just a regular unit test. Since I haven't cracked the textbook since the beginning of the semester and have been scoring at least B's on the tests I guess if I put a bit more effort into studying (which isn't happening til the morning) I should do perfectly fine. I've enjoyed the class a lot more then I thought I would. Plus there's some really cool people in the class and our professor really likes us. He told us on our last day of class how great we were and we were the best geology class he's had in years, said about how mature we all were and kept giving us a bunch of compliments... and then told us if we knew anybody like us to send them his way.

I'm excited not to have ANYTHING going on on Friday this week!!! :D I'm hoping to go to The Walk Through Bethlehem with Andrew and Kim and Teddy and Joe :) and probably Karolline too if she decides she loves us that much.

Schools out for the semester...
