Week Nine

I just had to count weeks because I've missed so many!

The week after my last post I decided to go to Andrew and Kim's for the long weekend. I bought a train ticket and headed out at 11:59pm Thursday. I quickly discovered how much I dislike trains! I got on and landed a seat next to an older lady who was pretending to sleep. As I'm trying to get my bag in the overhead as quietly as I could and then sit down and get situated she says "I'm not sleeping so don't worry about bothering me. I was exhausted in the station and now I can't sleep." That should've been my first warning! I dozed a little on the trip but not much and was quite uncomfortable most of the way. The lady next to me got to sleep quite quickly after I arrived and began to snore... and then cough... and then sit up and get some water and start all over again. The way back wasn't much better. I walked through 5 cars and didn't find a seat and had to turn around and try again. I finally got a seat in a car with a bunch of high school students and some little kids, all of which we noisy. But the time I got to spend in New York was worth it. We went out for brunch with Hilary and Grant to this awesome French restaurant in Syracuse and then did a little store hopping before heading back home. We hung out around the house and relaxed most of the weekend which was just what I needed.

The past couple weeks have been filled with school. I've gone to a couple concerts at the Howard and hung out with some friends on the weekends.

I got an AWESOME package in the mail the other week. Adrianna and I sent each other some hand-made goodies. She sent me the coolest slippers!!! I LOVE them! We took pictures of ourselves opening the packages to post online because we were supposed to skype and do it but my computer was acting up again (go figure).

Spring break starts the end of this week and I'm SO ready for it! This weekend is going by WAY to fast. I wish I could have one more day just to do nothing but read or watch movies all day!
