To _______ to sleep

It's been an eventful last couple of days!

Friday night there was vespers and Monica and I went to parts of two different ones. We froze all the way over to Burman and didn't even stay the whole time. But Monica was really tired and not feeling the greatest and neither of us really felt like doing anything so we came back to her room and visited for a bit and then Jodi and her sister came shortly after and we chilled for a little bit more before heading to bed.

Sabbath came quickly in the morning (although I had been up talking until about 2:30). I went to church and sat with Jodi, her sister Noelle, and DJ. Then we all went to Jodi's great aunts house for lunch (real haystacks). Boy was it a house full! There was Monica, DJ, and me, then there was Jodi, her sister, her brother, mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, and great aunt, oh yeah and the cat. It was really fun and SCORE.. 2 Sabbaths in a row I was off campus for lunch and most of the afternoon :)

Saturday night Monica, Rich, Kathrine, Bryan, Nicole, Allison, Cara, and I all went to Old Navy and did some shopping. I bought a pair of black and a pair of white flip flops and some really cute sunglass all for $10.60! I think everybody but Cara got something there! It was really fun. Then we all went to Krispy Kreme :D and got free donuts right off the line and then bought a dozen. Then we went across the street for the main reason for going out... CHIPOTLE!!!!!!!!!!!! It was SO good!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to go again... right now... I think Cara might be going on Tuesday and I might need her to pick me up another burrito! We all left VERY full and most of us with left overs. We then decided to hit Target before coming back... we didn't realize they were closed and opened up the automatic doors manually and almost got locked inside! I said that that would be an interesting adventure to have to explain to the dean why we all were out all night. (Rich, Nicole, and Allison had gone to a different store and we didn't see them the rest of the night.) Bryan dropped the rest of us off and then gave us a movie (The Illusionist) which we (Monica, Cara, and I) proceeded to take to the lobby and begin watching... well... I say begin watching... I fell asleep part way through! ME... the night owl... fell asleep during a movie! What I saw of it it was good... I'll hopefully finish it while working on my Basic Design homework at some point this week. The funny thing about that is Monica and Cara were the ones saying that they were really tired and thinking about just going to bed.

Today I got up late because my alarm clock didn't go off again. Therefore, I skipped my darkroom lab again because I didn't have anything shot. I did shoot four of my six rolls this afternoon and will take the other two tomorrow and develop everything tomorrow night I hope. I have six rolls and six contact sheets due on Wednesday (it's better then the eight and two prints we were going to have to do!) I had a SPLASH meeting at 8:00 tonight and after that I proofed the website... there are SO many typos to change and I didn't even finish looking at all the graphic parts but I did check all the links... found 2 that don't work. We left there around 11:15 and then Monica and I had a really good, long talk. It kinda reminded me of the talks I used to have with Adri and made me miss her a lot. But I'm really glad Monica asked to talk to me... it was really good and I enjoyed it. I feel like our friendship is growing because of certain things happening around us.

Tomorrow I have class at 11:30 and hopefully will be able to sleep peacefully until 10:00. I'm tired but don't really feel like sleeping. I hate that feeling. Maybe it's because I've been up for 13 hours.

Oh yeah! I'm in a jazz ensemble now... not really by choice I was just told to stay. We have this week to prepare three songs for the Pops Concert Saturday night. It should be interesting but a lot of fun.
