Today's happenings

I actually went to Sabbath School this morning! I met Monica at Higher Ground where we ate breakfast and listened to some of the song service and special music before going to "the adult Sabbath School." Then we went to church of course and then to lunch. We decided to go to the beach for a little while and invited a ton of people to go.

We wanted to leave at about 2:30 to go to the beach because John R. and I had to be back at 4 for Joni's baptism. We ended up leaving around 3 and instead of the beach being 10-15 minutes away like they thought... it was a half hour away. So by the time we got there it was time for John and I to go back. We waited around and John tried getting some friends of his that were at another beach to pick us up but they didn't. Finally Phillip threw John the car keys and told us to come back to pick them up after the baptism. So that's what we did.

The baptism was beautiful. There were quite a few people there but it still seemed to be kinda small and intimate. There was a lot of music interspersed throughout people sharing things with Joni and giving advice and insight about walking with God.

After the baptism John and I headed back to the beach... we walked the beach enough to find our people and turn around and come back because of the concert that other people had to be back for.

The Choir and Orchastra concert was at 8. It was a LONG concert but very good. It lasted over an hour for sure without and intermission or break. It was all one piece and it had 7 movements. I had a lot of people that were performing. It was really good and afterwards I found Monica, and got to say hi to a TON of people and talk to a bunch of others.

Then... we were supposed to go to IHOP and meet Bryan and whoever else had gone to the movies... but plans changed and Monica, Rich, John C, Serenity, Navina, and myself all went to pizza hut and chilled there until 12:55. It was a lot of fun. I don't think I have laughed that hard in a while... my stomach started hurting I was laughing so hard!

And now tomorrow is going to have to be a LOT of work! I have a lot to shoot for my 20 roll project still which means I have to get up early and go rent a camera since I still can't find mine! :( I don't know what to do... I wish it would just show up.

Anyways... It is late (or early depending on how you look at it) and I need to go to bed.
