During Skills Week, the screen of my camera would turn all white and then usually the picture would come back if I wiggled it a little or stopped touching it. But now... its all white and staying all white :( I'm not sure what to do about it.... I'm accepting donations for an upgrade
Last week most of us (faculty/staff) went up to Cherokee on Sunday afternoon and came back on Tuesday afternoon. It was cold up there! And it rained quite a bit. Monday afternoon we had a couple hours of free time but it was too cold to get into the water or on the boat so I curled up in a chair on the dock and journaled and read for a while. Lots of people slept including poor Adam who slept in a room with a bunch of snoring guys and didn't sleep well. I think I've got a bit of a cold from being up there.
Mom, Dad, Karolline, and Belle came out this weekend. Karolline was dropped off and so was my stuff from home. I'm mostly moved in to my new house. I have two more suitcases to take over. I'll probably do that tomorrow. I'm kinda sad to be leaving my summer home but it'll be nice to be right next to campus. She doesn't have curtains in the house!!! There weren't even any curtain rods! So we bought some and I had to get one more curtain for my room because I had two. There's a double window and a single window but they're all wider then normal windows. My room is quite nice with all the windows and a nice carpet... so much nicer then a dorm room.
We had some more meetings after we got back from Cherokee and after one of them Adam caught me and asked if I'd be willing to sponsor SA with him. So, I'm one of the SA sponsors, yearbook sponsor, working in the office, working in the cafe, and then whatever supervision responsibilities. At least I won't have much time to get myself into trouble.
Adam has told me a couple times he's glad that I have experience with SA because he's never been involved with it. We had our first meeting with SA today and it seems to be a good team. The seem pretty motivated and on top of things which is good and they want to be a lot more involved with things this year which will be good!
Today we had a meeting this morning, then met with SA, had lunch, did some things for the SA meeting tomorrow, talked with a couple SA officers that wanted to run a couple things past me, met in the cafe with Rozita and Paul before heading home.
I think tonight is the last night I'll be at Andrew and Kim's for a while.... I'm a bit sad about it. Although it will be nice to be pretty much on campus when it comes to what time I have to get up in the mornings.
Tomorrow is going to be filled with more meetings and finishing moving. Fun fun...
