Nine Hours

Last Wednesday I walked into work a couple minutes late (worship was already going on) and went into my office to drop my bag and jacket. Mr. Baker followed me into my office and asked me if I'd like to make some extra money then asked what my plans for break was. I told him I was going home and he was like oh... that won't work then... well, maybe it will... do you want to make quite a bit of extra money? I was like SURE! It ended up I drove the 12 passenger van with five kids all the way to AUC then drove Karolline and myself home! The van stayed at the bottom of our drive way until this morning when I backed out and drove the nine hour trip back with 6 students.

Break was good. Wednesday night I slept on the couch because I had fallen asleep there around 10:30 and didn't have the energy to get up! Dad said when he got home (probably around midnight) he had tried to convince me to go in to my own bed and I mumbled a bunch of unintelligible things to him so he left me alone. I moved to my own bed around 7:30 when Mom woke up and wanted the couch... I then slept until 11! Oh what bliss!

Karolline and I took Mom shopping. I think it was the longest she had been out of the house since her surgery so we pushed her in a wheelchair the whole time. We went to JC Penny's. Karolline and I both found some stuff... Mine included a dress for Adri's wedding :) I hope she approves.

Tomorrow it's back to work. We have two less students in the senior class. One had to leave for some health issues and the other one was his choice. On Tuesday, I think its 6 kids and Sue are leaving for Guatamala for about three weeks on a mission trip. Karolline is going with them so it'll be a quiet few weeks. I've got worship this week. I'm not sure what all I'll be doing for them. I have one figured out and I think I'll ask a student or two to do a couple too.

I am going to California and Michigan next month!!!!!!! I'm so excited! It'll be busy but a lot of fun! I know Marissa has got a bunch of stuff planned for us to do :) I'm hoping to get Photoshop for my computer while I'm out to Andrews too! I'm going to use the money that I get from driving for homeleave for it. I need to get it so I can get my book for my photo class going. Should be pretty fun :)
